Nike Air Max day
CONCEPT
Working with the vision of the PR and marketing firm we were approached with this concept
with less than a month to pull it off. The goal was to help celebrate Nike AirMax’s 30th anniversary
with an engaging marketing campaign that features oversized models of the Nike AirMax 720
that would encourage people to share their image on Instagram using #JustGoBigger. Added
bonus, tag @itsmaysmeme and you could have a chance to be featured in one of her stories.
This activation would run simultaneously in Yorkdale and Eatons Centre in Toronto, Ontario and
Metrotown in Burnaby, Vancouver.
SOLUTION
Each location was slightly different but overall the concept was the same. We built a custom
enclosure so we could shoot from the bottom up and made sure it was fully branded from the
enclosure itself to the screens of the computer. A sharing stations was also in place to allow
people to share their image to themselves via email instantly while they waited for their image
to print. Brand Ambassadors explained the sharing process which was reinforced with an
explanation in the custom branded email that accompanied the photo.

CONCEPT
With the concept already in motion we had less then a couple of weeks to make this slow motion ice
smash a reality. The concept for this activation was to capture social media influencers while breaking
their unique pair of shoes out of a block of ice. With a set schedule and no room for error we were
tasked with capturing each experience and provided an instantly shareable video for Converse.
SOLUTION
Cold, outdoors and changing lighting were all obstacles we faced with this activations. We opted
for a custom set up including high powered constant lighting, high frame rate slow motion
camera and dedicated wifi network to ensure instant sharing. Guests were directed to their
location (converse logo marks the spot!) and instructed when to drop their ice brick. We only had
one chance to grab the experience but it was a massive success each time.
